About

Hello, I am Séan. I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am also a tutor of counselling skills. I have experience of working both with adults on a one-to-one basis and children within schools.  As a counsellor, I have helped clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, bereavement and relationships. I pride myself on my down-to-earth, honest and empathic approach. I have a keen interest in mindfulness and meditation. I believe that by exploring these disciplines, I have been able to gain a greater understanding of how the mind and body affect each other.

Over the years I have been involved in my own personal therapy journey. This has allowed me to gain an insight into what it’s like to be sitting in the other chair. I strongly believe in the value of therapy and the power it can give an individual in building a more present, meaningful existence.
